Life can feel heavy. Stress, fatigue and worry can build quietly, making it hard to feel like yourself. The emotions we carry can start to feel like part of who we are, but they’re not.

There is a way back to yourself. Reiki is a gentle, Japanese relaxation technique that helps your body and mind release tension and restore balance. When you feel safe and relaxed, your body’s nervous system naturally shifts from stress mode - the “fight or flight” sympathetic state - into the “rest and restore” parasympathetic state. This is when your body functions at its best and you can feel calmer, clearer and more balanced.

As a practitioner, I don’t diagnose or treat conditions. My role is simply to help you relax. There is good evidence that deep relaxation reduces stress, eases tension and supports overall wellbeing. Reiki is one gentle way to help achieve this.

Reiki is not connected to any religion or belief system. You don’t need to believe in anything for it to have an effect. All that’s required is the willingness to pause… to breathe… and to receive.

Many clients come to Reiki for:

  • Relief from stress, anxiety or burnout.

  • Support through emotionally difficult times.

  • Help with pain management or tension in the body.

  • A sense of grounding and calm when life feels overwhelming.

  • Emotional healing following loss, change or trauma.

Every session is deeply personal and tailored to what you need in the moment.

What To Expect

Your Reiki session takes place in a calm, comfortable environment. You remain fully clothed, resting on a treatment table or seated - whichever feels best for you. Gentle, non-invasive touch or hands held near the body helps your system relax where it needs it the most.

Clients often describe a deep sense of relaxation, warmth and emotional release. Some even fall asleep and that’s perfectly fine. Some feel shifts immediately; for others, the effects build gradually in the days following.

Reiki is always safe, always respectful and always led by what your body and mind are ready for.
